WASHINGTON — Homicide detectives found a man stabbed to death in a D.C. apartment Friday night and now they are working to figure out who is responsible. Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information.
DC Police officers were first called to the apartment in the 1300 block of Peabody Street Northwest when someone reported an unconscious person in an apartment. Once on scene, the officers found a man stabbed multiple times. He was pronounced dead on the scene. He has since been identified as 53-year-old Fasil Teklemariam, of Northwest, D.C.
So far, investigators have not learned of a motive for this case. Police have not released any suspect information, and no arrests have been made. Additional details were not immediately available.
