WASHINGTON — A man wanted for shooting a 5-year-old girl and her father in April was apprehended in North Carolina Wednesday.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, 29-year-old Alante Partlow, of Northeast, D.C. was wanted for shooting the father and daughter on Tuesday, April 23.
The shooting reportedly happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of North Capitol Street, Northeast. Investigators say when they arrived they found a man and a 5-year-old girl. Both had been shot. They were taken to an area hospital for help and are expected to survive.
