WASHINGTON — Four teenagers were arrested by Metro Transit Police following a large brawl on a Metro platform on Friday. Video shared with WUSA9 shows the chaotic scene on the platform, with a large group gathered and punches flying.
A spokesperson for the Metro Transit Police Department said that during the fight, a person on the platform inadvertently fell onto the tracks, but was immediately helped up by another person. The person who fell was not hurt. Police did not report any injuries as a result of the fight.
It's not clear what sparked the fight. Police said once things were brought under control, four juveniles were stopped and arrested for participating in the fight. It's not clear what charges they are facing, or whether more arrests are possible.
