ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Alexandria police say they have arrested a masseuse on felony charges for allegedly assaulting at least two clients at a local massage parlor.
Picard K. Johnson, 31, of Fort Washington, Maryland, was arrested earlier this month on a warrant out of Virginia on two counts of object sexual penetration. According to Maryland court records, Johnson waived the right to an extradition hearing. He was originally set to appear for arraignment in Virginia last week, but that was continued until next month.
According to police, Johnson is accused of sexual assault by two clients of the Massage Envy location in the 4500 block of Duke Street in the Foxchase Shoppes in Alexandria. According to Virginia court records, the alleged assaults occurred on Sept. 25 and 26.
Police said they are looking for any Massage Envy clients who visited the Duke Street location between Aug. 1 and Sept. 26 and experienced inappropriate contact. Clients are asked to contact Alexandria Police Detective Vanderah within the APD Criminal Investigations Bureau at 703-746-6678. Calls may be made anonymously.
Picard was released on his own recognizance and scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Alexandria General District Court on Nov. 22. In Virginia, unwanted object sexual penetration is a felony carrying a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison upon conviction.
