Police investigate stabbing in SE DC, 2 teenagers injured

Both of the victims were conscious and breathing when they were taken to an area hospital for help.

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating a stabbing that left two underage victims injured Tuesday night.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the stabbing happened shortly before 10:45 p.m. in the 2600 block of Stanton Road, Southeast. 

Upon arrival, officers found two teenage boys who had been stabbed. Both of the victims were conscious and breathing when they were taken to an area hospital for help. 

There is no word on what happened in the moments leading up to the stabbing or any possible motive.
