2 delivery drivers robbed at gunpoint 30 minutes apart in Southeast DC

No injuries were reported in either robbery.

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after two delivery drivers were robbed at gunpoint 30 minutes apart in Southeast, D.C. Tuesday morning.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 1000 block of Cook Drive at 11:20 a.m. Upon arrival, officers learned a man was working as a delivery driver when he was robbed at gunpoint. 

Thirty minutes later, officers were called to the 800 block of Xenia Street, Southeast for reports of another delivery driver robbed at gunpoint. 

No injuries were reported in either robbery. 

Investigators are currently on the lookout for two suspects who may be riding in a blue or grey Subaru Crosstrek with Virginia tags.
