LARGO, Md. — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 16-year-old boy dead in Largo on Saturday night.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the shooting happened in the 700 block of Harry S Truman Drive around 9 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a teenage boy outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died a short time later.
The victim has since been identified as 16-year-old Kesean Hunt.
Detectives say they have identified and spoken to several people believed to be involved in the shooting.
"Detectives are in consultation with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office regarding this active investigation," police said in a press release. "At this time, there are no charges against any of those involved."
