WASHINGTON — DC Police announced the arrests of three teenage boys Friday night and charged them all with robbery after an incident that they say occurred Thursday.
Just past 3:30 p.m., the suspects allegedly approached the victim in the 3900 block of Dix Street, Northeast. After one teen snatched property from the victim, police say that all three ran off.
The teens, who are 16-years-old and 14-years-old, both of Southeast, and a 15-year-old of Northeast were charged Friday.
Just this past weekend on Sunday, in a separate incident, DC Police also made an arrest in a situation involving two teenagers.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun) for allegedly shooting a juvenile girl, police said.
Around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, DC Police officers responded to 1300 block of 5th Street, Northwest for the reports of gunshots. Once on scene, officers said they found a juvenile girl suffering from a gunshot wound.
On Friday, DC Police said they arrested a 16-year-old boy from Southeast, D.C. and charged him with the shooting.
