More than 50 displaced after 2-alarm fire in Oxon Hill

The fire broke out an apartment in the 5500 block of Livingston Terrace.

OXON HILL, Md. — Crews responded to a 2-alarm fire in Oxon Hill on Saturday, Prince George's County Fire Department.

The fire broke out an apartment in the 5500 block of Livingston Terrace in Glassmanor around 6 p.m. affecting 22 units. Roughly 37 adults and 22 juveniles currently displaced according to fire officials. 

Officials said the fire started on the first level of a lower level apartment and extended to three floors of the building. Three firefighters were transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor burns.

Units from D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services are also on scene to assist.
