SPRINGFIELD, Va. — Detectives are looking for more possible victims of a man accused of raping a woman in early 2018 through the use of her mental incapacity.

She later gave birth to a child, and DNA tests recently confirmed Bernard Betts-King is the father, according to police.

At the time of the assault, Betts-king was working with the victim as a behavioral specialist MVLE Community Center, in Springfield, police said in a release.

He is currently employed by Community Living Alternatives in Fairfax.

Police said both organizations have cooperated with the investigation.

Fairfax PD said in a release Betts-King is currently being held without bond at the Adult Detention Center.
