WASHINGTON -- A sixth arrest has been made in connection with the fatal shooting of 10-year-old Makiyah Wilson, according to police.
Police said they arrested a woman, who is being charged with obstruction of justice. Her name has not been released yet.
The rising 5th grader died four months ago when a group of masked men was caught on video firing more than 70 gunshots into a crowd of people.
The incident may have stemmed from an alleged beef between Wellington Park and DC’s Clay Terrace neighborhoods.
Mark Price, Marquell Cobb, Quentin Michals, Qujuan Thomas, and Gregory Taylor are currently all behind bars and have been charged with first-degree murder.
