PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Three robbery suspects led Prince George's County police officers on a chase that stretched almost 30 miles and crossed county lines early Tuesday morning.
The incident started when police were called to the CVS in the 8800 block of Branch Avenue in Clinton, Maryland around 1:30 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery.
Just eight minutes later, officers identified the car described as the getaway vehicle, and attempted to stop it.
The car took off instead, leading police in a pursuit to the Beltway and traveling north and west, crossing the Montgomery County line, which brought in Montgomery County police to assist.
The chase came to an end when the car hit a guardrail at the Georgia Avenue exit.
All three suspects were taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
