OXON HILL, Md. — The 47th Annual Gala and Hispanic Business Hall of Fame was hosted on November 18, 2023, at MGM National Habor. With more than 500 participants, the event highlighted the importance and influence of the Hispanic Business community in the DMV.
The GWHCC Gala Awards honored the luminaries who are making significant contributions to the development and advancement of the Hispanic Market here in D.C.
Five categories were awarded; Small Business of the Year, Small Business Champion of the Year, Young Hispanic Entrepreneur, Legacy Award, and the Corporate Community Award.
Honorees included SERVPRO of Rockville and Silver Spring North, with owners Michelle and Jorge Gutierrez, Rosalia Fajardo, Mariana Barrientos Roig, Rebecca Medrano, and Omar Molina.
The event was emceed by WUSA9 Anchor, Simone De Alba
Founded in 1976, the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce supports the success of Latino and other minority-owned businesses through networking, advocacy, and access to capital.
