ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Ready to adopt your furever friend? Well you're in luck because the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is waiving its adoption fees through the holiday weekend.
The shelter is at critical capacity and in desperate need of people to adopt dogs. And they aren't alone.
Almost 30 dogs at the Prince George's County Animal Shelter will have to be euthanized if they aren't adopted on Thursday. Adoption fees have also been waived at this shelter.
The Prince George's County Animal Shelter located as 3750 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro.
The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is located at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria.
