This University of Maryland sophomore is an anti-bullying advocate

Devin Moore published a book, founded a nonprofit and has their own podcast.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — A University of Maryland sophomore who is an anti-bullying advocate is helping us get uplifted. They're an author, a nonprofit founder and a podcaster using their own experiences of being bullied to help others find their voices.

Devin Moore, 19, is the author of "Devin Speaks Up" which tells their story of being severely bullied both physically and online as a younger teen. Moore's podcast and nonprofit offer an anti-bullying curriculum for kids and parents.

The busy psychology major also offers workshops that provide students and parents with the tools needed to help stop bullying.

Devin's book and advocacy work aims to create a safe space for students of all gender identities, and is geared toward empowering kids to advocate for themselves and others.

Keep doing what you're doing, Devin! We appreciate your hard work.
