New music school opens in Takoma Park | Get Uplifted

The new creative outlet offers some of the best local artists ready to train students from beginner to advanced levels.

TAKOMA PARK, Md. — The sound of music that is now emanating from a brand new school in Montgomery County is getting us uplifted.

A place where musicians young and old will be able to hone their musical talents and who knows maybe even become the next Dave Grohl, Alicia Keys, or DJ Khaled. The Takoma Music School just opened in the heart of downtown Takoma Park, Maryland, an area long-known for its rich culture of music and arts.

The school looks to give individual attention to each student and nurture their connection to music by offering lessons in drums, piano, guitar as well as instructions in songwriting, music production and even DJ lessons.

The new creative outlet offers some of the best local artists ready to train students from beginner to advanced levels. The school is allowing local musicians the ability to reach back into the community to help others discover and nurture their artistry, ultimately adding to the creative spirit of the DMV.
