WASHINGTON — We are getting uplifted by the joy and happiness that jolly old St. Nick spreads for lots of young boys and girls this time of year.
Santa Claus traded his magical sleigh for a MedStar helicopter to spread holiday cheer at Georgetown University Hospital this week. That's where he, along with a special helper elf, visited young patients all over the hospital, including intensive care and transplant units.
It's his first helicopter landing at the hospital, but he hopes it's not his last.
Santa and his helpers delivered toys to nice boys and girls, all to spread a little Christmas joy to kids and their families!
We want to share things that uplift you! If you have something you'd like to share, email us at GetUplifted@wusa9.com or contact Allison Seymour on X, Facebook and Instagram.
