Pre-schoolers donate items to unhoused people in Loudoun County | Get Uplifted

They provided items such as new coats, new scarfs and hats for adults, gently used kids' clothes, and women, men and kids' toiletries.

LEESBURG, Va. — The holiday season is known as the season of giving, and this gesture, that's likely to warm your heart ahead of these cold winter months, shows that great things can come in small packages.

Pre-schoolers at the Primrose School of Leesburg at Potomac Station are learning what it means to be a good neighbor and support their communities. The kids donated bags of winter clothing and hygiene products to the Loudoun Homeless Services Center earlier this month. They could be seen with bags in hand and smiles on their faces.

This is the first year that the school has provided donations to Loudoun County neighbors in need through the center. School leaders say the goal is to encourage kids to give back without expecting anything in return.
