Gallaudet Bison football team makes second Division III NCAA tournament in school history

Gallaudet's football program has been in existence since 1883.

WASHINGTON — The Gallaudet Bison football team is helping us feel uplifted and we want to wish them good luck this weekend!

The Bison are headed to Pennsylvania Friday for the start of the Division III NCAA football playoffs. They will take on Delaware Valley University on Saturday at noon in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. That's about a three hour drive from Gallaudet.

The Bison are making their fist NCAA tournament appearance in nine years and just the second appearance in school history. The football program has been in existence since 1883.

Gallaudet has a storied history for being the premiere university for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Now they're one of 32 schools playing for the Division III national title.

If you want to support the Bison, tickets are cheap! They cost about $8, but are only available in person.

We wish the Bison the best of luck!
