Woodley Park residents enjoy 200 free scoops of ice cream at Tyra Banks' Smize & Dream pop-up shop

TikTok star Keith Lee helped the shop to give back to the community.

WASHINGTON — Thanks to a TikTok star with a huge following, neighbors in Woodley Park got a sweet treat on the house Sunday, and it's helping us get uplifted.

Hundreds of D.C. residents visited Smize and Dream for a free scoop of ice cream. We have previously told you about Tyra Banks' newly opened ice cream pop-up shop. It's been a huge hit this summer and even got a visit from Vice President Kamala Harris.

It also got the attention of TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee, who visited a number of restaurants and food trucks in the D.C. region recently.

"So Keith Lee came by maybe a week ago to bless us with a huge tip to be able to give back to our community here in Woodley Park and give away 200 free scoops of ice cream," said manager Ariyon Lee.

If you want to get your Smize and Dream fix, you'll have about three more weeks to do so. The pop-up is closing on Sept. 20.
