WASHINGTON — A holiday shopping tradition that is uniquely D.C. is helping us get uplifted. This holiday market is celebrating its 31st year of supporting Black-owned small businesses and offering a dynamic shopping experience, just in time for the holiday season.
Organized by Juanita "Busy Bee" Britton, the BZB Shop Till You Drop Holiday Bazaar at the historic Shiloh Baptist Church in the Shaw neighborhood in Northwest runs from Black Friday to Dec. 23 on select days.
It features 100,000 square feet of artisans and designers. This year, the bazaar has more than 90 Black businesses, many featuring one-of-a-kind designs in clothing, jewelry, art, handbags and more.
