Students in Montgomery County to see hard work pay off with refurbished car sale | Get Uplifted

The prices for the vehicles range from $2,800 to just under $9,000.

SILVER SPRING, Md. — If you are in the market for a used car and want to help students in Montgomery County reach their full potential -- here's just the event for you.

There is a very special car sale happening Saturday that goes from the classroom to the car lot. It's time for the refurbished used car sale where high school students who work on refurbishing cars during the school year get to see their hard work pay off.

It's all part of the Montgomery County students Automotive Trades Foundation's program, a non-profit that works with local businesses and MCPS to help give young people a running start by offering unique training for skilled positions in the automotive industry.

Prices range from $2,800 to just under $9,000.

All of the vehicles are Maryland State inspected and depending on the mileage, some come with a 30-day or thousand-mile warranty.

The sale will be at Thomas Edison High School of Technology in Silver Spring.
