DC bars are giving us all another reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving

WASHINGTON — As the year begins to come to a close, let's raise a glass and let the drinks flow. D.C. released a list of bars, lounges, and clubs that will be extending their hours on Thanksgiving weekend. During these after-hours, bars will be permitted to serve alcohol.

This is part of D.C.'s Alcohol Beverage and Cannabis Administration's Extended Holiday Hours Program. Businesses with liquor licenses wanting to participate in this program needed to apply by October 27. Businesses accepted into the program will be allowed to serve alcohol until 4 a.m. beginning Wednesday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 30.
