TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (WUSA9) -- A local entrepreneur in Prince George's County is writing her own recipe for success, one flavor at a time.

Inside a kitchen in Temple Hills, Md., Tiffany Huntley is stirring up a seafood sauce that's gone from a family recipe to a family business.

"It just dropped into my lap from making sauce in my kitchen," said Huntley.

The transition from her kitchen to store shelves began with a trip to Whole Foods in Alexandria, Va. Huntley says she pitched her product to the store during a lunch break. Soon, the store opened the door for her to start selling the sauce.

"When I go into the grocery store and see Heinz...I see Hunt's...all of those other big brands," said Huntley. "Then I see Huntley's right beside it. I think it's a dream!"

Huntley, her mom and kids have not only expanded their product line, but also the list of stores where the Huntely's brand is sold. She estimates nearly 250 cases of sauce are packaged per week for grocers that include Wegmans, Giant and Jumbo Food International Supermarkets. Huntley's goal is to turn the brand into a household name across the country.

"The idea comes, and I move on it," said Huntley. "It's a miracle. I didn't have any schooling. Wasn't born into it. It's truly a miracle. Getting goose bumps!"
