Where you can see cherry blossoms in the DC area without the crowds

If you're not into all the crowds, we get it and we've compiled a list of places you can go to check them out in area

WASHINGTON — It's the greatest sign that spring is here -- cherry blossoms. Now that the cherry blossoms have reached peak bloom, you can expect major crowds at the Tidal Basin.

If you're not into all the crowds, we get it and we've compiled a list of places you can go to check them out in area.  

  • Kenwood neighborhood off River Road.
  • A stretch of road along Eastern Ave NE by St. Ann’s Home.
  • Between 16th and Michigan Ave./Queens Chapel Road.
  • 25 cherry trees located near American University’s School of International Service and the East Quad Building.

The Washington Post  also compiled a list of of six places you can go to see the blossoms without the crowds.
