WASHINGTON — One of the District's biggest DJs has a new home at a D.C. institution.
Roberto "DJ Quicksilva" Silva has had a lot of success in his business. He's been named the No. 1 DJ in D.C. and ranked as the No. 12 DJ in the United States by The Source magazine.
Recently, he's starred on Love and Marriage: DC on the OWN Network, he's opened a DJ school for youth in Wards 7 and 8 and he even hosted virtual parties at Club QuickSilva at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, the 41-year-old musician is being recognized by Ben's Chili Bowl, with a photo on the restaurant's Wall of Fame.
Ben's has been a staple in the District for decades. Ben Ali, a Trinidadian-born immigrant and his fiancé, Virginia, opened the iconic restaurant in 1958.
The restaurant's Wall of Fame features photos of prominent politicians and celebrities who have eaten at the historic restaurant over the years.
QuickSilva's photo was unveiled Wednesday.
Silva said he hopes the photo inspires others.
"I'm a guy who came from nothing and now I'm up on the Wall of Fame!" he said.
