Dog Haus Biergarten, the California-based concept known for its innovative and unique twists on hot dogs, sausages, burgers and more, is opening its first east coast location in downtown Bethesda on Friday, April 13th. It will celebrate its official grand opening on Saturday, April 21st with free haus dogs available from 11am to Midnight.
Food Network Star Adam Gertler is Dog Haus’ Würstmacher. As head sausage maker, he oversees the creation of Dog Haus sausages. Here he shares his spicy basil aioli sauce recipe served on the Sooo Cali dog:
Ingredients
2 Serrano chilies (stems removed)
1 cup basil leaves
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cloves garlic
3 tbsp lime juice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth. Transfer to squeeze bottle for use.
