WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Great Day Washington is hosted by Ellen Bryan and Kristen Berset-Harris.
While spending the past decade working in morning television, Ellen Bryan learned the importance of a morning routine. She's created two tools to help you start your day with success. First, her book A Work in Progress and also A Work in Progress Journal. Look for additional motivational messages on Great Day Washington on WUSA 9 every morning with her "Minute Motivation" series. In addition to hosting Great Day Washington Ellen is a health coach, author and speaker. She has spoken on stages from TEDx to corporate events, she also coaches clients one-on-one to find their individual, optimal health.
Ellen graduated from Ball State University. She started her broadcasting career at ABC 36 in Lexington, Kentucky. She then joined the NBC 5 team in Dallas - Fort Worth, Texas before moving to our nation's capital.
Kristen Berset-Harris spent 6 years as WUSA9 Sports Anchor before joining the team at Great Day Washington. She began her career on the white sandy beaches of her home state of Florida. Kristen was a news anchor at WJHG in Panama City, Fla., and co-host of the Professional Tarpon Tournament Series, a fishing show broadcast around the nation. Kristen was also Host of the Emmy winning show ‘Ravens Report”, the flagship program for the Baltimore Ravens that showcases life in the NFL. She still keeps up on all the sports news, while bringing viewers the latest and greatest that the DC area has to offer.
Kristen is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Telecommunications and continues to be an avid Gators fan. She was the 2004 Miss Florida USA and a semi-finalist in the Miss USA finals.
