Nationals Youth Baseball Academy hosts Turkeypalooza | It's A DC Thing

Staff will give away 180 turkeys to participants in the academy's after-school and youth baseball program.

WASHINGTON — The Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy is hosting its fourth annual Turkeypalooza Monday.

Staff members will donate 180 turkeys to participants in the academy's after-school and youth baseball program. Each family will also receive a bag of produce from the academy's Field of Greens market.

Nats fans also stepped up and helped fund 2,400 bags of produce of D.C. residents.

On top of that, Washington Nationals philanthropies is kicking off Giving Tuesday early. The organization is looking to raise money for the Youth Baseball Academy.

Anyone who donates $100 or more will receive a baseball cap with the academy logo. Here's how you can get involved.
