WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Tuesday, Donald Trump launched his campaign for the Republican nomination for president, arriving on stage to Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World" played. Unfortunately, he won't be able to do it again.

The musician is telling the real-estate magnate and reality TV star to quit it.

A statement from Young's rep Rick Gershon obtained by USA Today's Entertain This reads:

"Donald Trump was not authorized to use Rockin' In The Free World in his presidential candidacy announcement. Neil Young, a Canadian citizen, is a supporter of Bernie Sanders for President of the United States of America."
