Maluma reveals he's going to be a dad at concert in Washington, DC

This was the first time this was announced to the public and at the end of the music video was footage of a gender reveal event.

WASHINGTON — It is not every day that fans get to be there when one of their favorite performers announces to the world life-changing news, but for some lucky people in D.C. -- they were.

Maluma, a 29-year-old Colombian singer and rapper who is known for songs such as “Felices Los 4” and "COCO LOCO," graced a stage at Capital One Arena Thursday night for his Don Juan Tour. After electrifying the arena with a dynamic performance, he kneeled to the floor taking in the crowd and the cheers.

He then sat down on the stage and premiered the music video for his song "Procura," which he also showed live on his Instagram, to close out the night. In the video, the singer can be seen with his girlfriend Susana Gomez, in personal home videos -- happy, in love, enjoying life throughout the years, and her journey so far being pregnant.

Throughout the video, over the tunes of a smooth bachata pop song, is multiple shots of their journey, from kissing her pregnant belly, going to the doctor together, basking in the beauty of the sonograms, and enjoying time with family.

This was the first time this was announced to the public and at the end of the music video was footage of a gender reveal event -- in which the color pink is shown -- announcing a baby girl is on the way. The couple is also seen in the video wearing diamond necklaces displaying the word or name Paris.

At the beginning of the music video, in Spanish, Maluma showed a clip of him on a previous stage expressing his love for his girlfriend and loved ones. This bundle of joy will be the couple's first child.
