WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The people of Flint Michigan got some relief during their water crisis from a most interesting source.
Singer and artist Cher rallied an LA Water company and sent nearly 200,000 bottles of water to the Michigan community Tuesday. The bottles were distributed by a local food bank on the ground. Cher has been on a social media rampage about this chronicling her water shipment and railing against the Governor.
She's also challenged other artists to get involved in sending water to Flint Michigan.
We hear that the water she sent should arrive sometime Wednesday.
