WASHINGTON — New York had Timothee Chalamet. Chicago had Jeremy Allen White. And now, D.C. will have Jack Schlossberg.
Celebrity look-alike contests have taken off.
After a person posted fliers for a Timothee Chalamet lookalike contest around New York City, massive crowds and even Chalamet himself showed up to the city’s Washington Square Park on Oct. 27. Since then, lookalike competitions have popped up in cities around the world.
Another popular one happened Nov. 16 in Chicago, where a mental health therapist won the title of Jeremy Allen White’s lookalike.
So now, it’s D.C.’s turn. And of course, the District’s look-alike contest will feature a Kennedy — the president’s grandson to be exact. Jack Schlossberg, whose full name is John Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg, is First Daughter Caroline Kennedy’s son.
Vogue named Schlossberg their political correspondent in July. He has also previously contributed to many national news outlets. In 2020 and 2024, he spoke at the Democratic National Convention. And he also posts videos on his TikTok account, which has nearly 525,000 followers, and has received 7.7 million likes.
The event will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 in Meridian Hill Park, also known as Malcolm X Park. The winner of the contest will receive $50 in cash and a $100 Zipcar driving credit, as well as a one-year free membership.
According to the event’s post on Partiful, where people can RSVP, it was organized by two people named Ruchika and Georgia.
