The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story star joins the recently-announced Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones, who will portray Olivia de Havilland, in her first major TV role in years.

In May, FX greenlighted Feud with Susan Sarandon and Murphy regular Jessica Lange playing Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, respectively, in the anthology series about history's most infamous rivalries. The first installment will focus on the behind-the-scenes battle between the two actresses who worked through their mutual hatred to create the 1962 smash hit, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?.

Earlier this month, Paulson admitted she's begging Murphy, who created American Crime Story and American Horror Story, to let her star in the new season of American Crime Story, which will focus on 2005's Hurricane Katrina. "Begging on my hands and knees," she admitted.

On Monday, Paulson opened up to ET about her upcoming Emmy plans, revealing that she won't be bringing girlfriend Holland Taylor as her plus-one. "That person is not my date!" the actress said.

Paulson has never won an Emmy in four previous tries and this year, she's up for two. She admitted she'll likely prepare a speech, just in case they call her name on Sept. 18.

"I probably will write something only because I never have before. But then the last year when I went, so many people got up there with speeches, and some of the people have been up there a million times and they still get up there with speeches," she tells ET. "And I thought, 'It's probably the better way to do it' because I just fear I would get up there and white out and be like 'bluehhheheh.'"
