Fans of late singer Christina Grimmie are definitely not happy with the Teen Choice Awards.
Grimmie won a posthumous award for "Choice Web Star: Music" at the annual awards show on Sunday, but wasn't mentioned once in the broadcast, including in a tribute honoring young family members of victims of gun violence. In one of the most powerful moments of the show, Jessica Alba introduced teenage family members of victims of highly publicized shootings in the U.S., including Cameron -- the son of Alton Sterling, who was shot dead by police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana -- and victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida.
Fans accused the Teen Choice Awards of using Grimmie for ratings without honoring her, pointing to an official tweet in which they asked followers to retweet in memory of the singer.

The Grimmie family is also not pleased with the exclusion.
"While we are glad that Christina finally won her much deserved Teen Choice Award, we are also definitely disappointed that her name was not mentioned at any point during the two-hour broadcast," a source close to the Grimmie family tells ET. "It seems they could have paid honor or tribute to her in some way and that opportunity was missed. The fans have a right to be upset."
Grimmie died on June 10 of gunshot wounds after she was shot at a meet-and-greet with fans following a performance in Orlando, Florida. She was 22 years old.

A Change.org petition was started following the show, asking the Teen Choice Awards and Fox to formally apologize for "disrespecting Christina Grimmie."
ET has reached out to Fox for comment.
Grimmie was laid to rest on June 16 in her home state of New Jersey. Last month, the popular Voice contestant's parents, Tina and Bud, and her brother, Marcus, thanked fans for their support with a heartbreaking message.
"The outpouring of love and generosity that has been displayed to our family throughout these last few weeks has far exceeded anything we could have ever imagined," the statement read. "As we have always known, Christina's life was so very special, not only to us, but to everyone she touched with her joyful heart, beautiful voice and love for life and the Lord. ... She will live on in our hearts forever."
