DC's Federalist Pig, other DMV restaurants make Yelp's list of 100 best BBQ spots

Restaurants in Centreville and Alexandria also made the list.

WASHINGTON β€” If your mouth isn't watering looking over Yelp's Top 100 Barbecue Spots of 2024, that's because you may not have noticed that several DMV establishments made the list.

DC's Federalist Pig (#72) and  2Fifty Texas BBQ (#90) in Maryland's Riverdale Park, cracked a top-tier list that's sure to have people talking throughout the weekend and beyond.

Yelp, which released the list Thursday, calculated its top 100 using the following metrics: "We identified businesses in the Barbecue category with a large concentration of reviews mentioning β€œbarbecue,” then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning those keywords."

Also on the list, representing Virginia, is Sō Korean Barbeque in Centreville (#58) and Smoking Kow BBQ in Alexandria (#79).

2Fifty Texas BBQ also has a location on K St NW in DC.
