'Daily Show' set to go to Newseum after Stewart's final show

Thursday night, Jon Stewart will host his final Daily Show, with a look back at his time on Comedy Central.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Thursday night, Jon Stewart will host his final Daily Show, with a look back at his time on Comedy Central.

Once the show is done, the set will be shipped to the Newseum in Washington, D.C. The anchor desk, globe and props from the show will become part of the permanent collection after Stewart ends his 16-year run.

Newseum officials cannot say when or where artifacts will be placed on display yet.
