Lindsey Nance is a multi-skilled television personality at WUSA9 in Washington, D.C. She joined Tegna's Get Up DC! anchor team as their traffic specialist in March 2023. She brings energy and charisma to the show Monday through Friday 4:25 - 7:00 a.m.
Lindsey landed her first job at a legendary news station in Nashville, Tennessee before graduating college. She began her career in 2018 as a multimedia journalist at WSMV 4 Nashville covering breaking news, weather, education and feature stories. In 2019, she was promoted to dayside reporting and hosted a weekly show for the Tennessee Titans with Eddie George. By the end of 2019, she earned an anchoring position on the morning newscast where she specialized in traffic, sports and entertainment. Lindsey’s employers say she is authentic, energetic, hard- working, and engaging.
In her free time, Lindsey hosts various events involving charities, sports and entertainment while doubling as a sideline reporter. Her hosting experience includes the Music City Grand Prix, the Clean Water Bash, MTSU football games, and sideline reporting for Belmont University. She graduated in May 2018 with a degree in Broadcasting & New Media at Lipscomb University. Lindsey plans to use her passion and determination for journalism as a way to better the community throughout her journey.
