WASHINGTON — John Doran joined the WUSA team in March 2024 as a reporter.

Before that, he worked at WTHR in Indianapolis, IN, WLUK-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin and KXMC-TV in Minot, North Dakota.

John went to school at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin where he participated on the school’s varsity football and baseball teams. He is a Chicagoland native and is a die-hard Chicago Bears and White Sox fan.

When he's not working, you can find John on a golf course, softball diamond or catching a game at Nationals Park.
