Did you know that Kaitlyn just got married? Learn more about her below.

WASHINGTON — The WUSA9 family continues to grow and now we are welcoming the newest member of our team. WUSA9's new meteorologist, Kaitlyn McGrath, is officially a Washingtonian, and made her on-air debut Monday.

Friends, meet Kaitlyn ... Kaitlyn, meet your newest fans!

When she's not busy giving you the latest forecasts and keeping your family safe, you can catch Kaitlyn exploring her new home. She'd love recommendations from you about what she absolutely can't miss.

To help you get to know Kaitlyn a little better, here are a few fun facts about our New England transplant!

Her first impression of D.C.?

"It has so much to offer," the proud University of Florida grad says.

For fun, Kaitlyn likes to be outside hiking, biking and exploring everything that made her fall in love with D.C. at first sight.

Kaitlyn describes herself as a fun, loving and caring person. She recently got married and is enjoying newlywed bliss.

Although becoming a meteorologist was high up on Kaitlyn's list of dream jobs, her first was to dance with the Radio City Rockettes.

Kaitlyn isn't a strict believer in classic weather sayings, but if she has to pick, her favorite saying is red skies in the morning, sailors take warning.

Kaitlyn is super eager to start eating her way through D.C. But she hasn't yet tried mumbo sauce (she mayyyyy have thought it was a BBQ sauce) so we know where she needs to start.

And finally, her hidden talent is... let's just say you have to see it to believe it. Check out the video below and see if you catch it!

Don't forget to follow Kaitlyn on Facebook and Twitter to get to know her even better -- and send her all the restaurant recommendations!
