Police search for carjacking suspects who forced teenage victim to pay them before letting him go

Police continue to search for the two 18-year-old suspects.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Police are searching for two suspects they say flagged down an acquaintance before abducting and robbing them at gunpoint.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, officers were called to the 5300 block of Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge just after 10:15 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators say the victim, a 17-year-old boy, was driving when he was flagged down by two people he knew. When he stopped, the suspects approached the car and took out guns and hit the teen.

The suspects reportedly got into the car and forced the teen into the back seat before driving away. The pair then allegedly forced the teen to send them money. Then the suspects stopped and got out of the car and ran away.

Investigators have identified the suspects as 18-year-old Nelson Alexander Lopez Jr. and 18-year-old Damari Seyquan Campbell.
