ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Talks of Monumental Sports and Entertainment moving the Washington Capitals and Wizards from Capital One Arena in D.C. to Potomac Yard has stirred up mixed feelings in the DMV. In an effort to understand multiple point-of-views about the proposal the city has announced a number of community engagement events.
The City of Alexandria says the events are to share the vision for the proposed Entertainment District at Potomac Yard and gather input from residents, civic and organizational leaders, and other stakeholders.
