  Busy Weekend
The first weekend of May is quite possibly the busiest spring weekend in our area. If you can’t find something to do you do not have a pulse. The weather should cooperate for the most part. The weather map this weekend will look similar to last weekend’s map. The cold front has slowed so Saturday should be a nice, warm day in the Metro Area. The best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be Saturday night. Showers and maybe a thunderstorm are possible Sunday morning and showers will linger Sunday but they should remain light. Here are the events:

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Saturday and Sunday

55th Landon Azalea Festival Saturday and Sunday Landon School Bethesda, Maryland

Flower Mart Saturday National Cathedral

83rd Virginia Gold Cup Saturday The Plains, Virginia

Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival Saturday and Sunday Winchester, Virginia

Maryland Maritime Heritage Festival Saturday and Sunday Annapolis, Maryland

Nats in town Vs. Pirates Saturday and Sunday (ending a long home stand)

NASCAR in Richmond Friday - Saturday
