Making the Pink Link

Hi Buddies,


For several months now, I've been having email conversations with Vicki Tashman. Vicki is from Los Angeles, California, but heard about Buddy Check 9 from one of our viewers. After months of coordinating schedules, Vicki joined me live on air to tell women about a unique breast cancer support service she's created called Pink-Link.


Three years ago when she was going through treatment, Vicki wished for someone to talk to about her experiences. The American Cancer Society has Reach To Recovery, but what if you're having a bad day and can't make that face to face connection? So Vicki created Pink-Link. It's an on line support service that allows breast cancer patients to connect with a breast cancer survivor. With Pink-Link you can hold hands in cyberspace and get through this ordeal together even if your Buddy is thousands of miles away.
