Battle of the Local Hotties
I came into work today only to find I was at the center of a titanic struggle between foes of primal power and most importantly, unimaginable good looks.
They call it 'Battle of the Media Hotties' and you can vote your choice and decide the winner on DCRTV.com a website specializing in insider gossip that permeates the tv news business, pretty much like everywhere else I would imagine.
They've had six of these 'contests' so far, including Channel 4's Wendy Rieger v. Shawn Yancy of Fox 5, and Channel 7's Alison Starling v. Fox 5's Laura Evans. But now the most unexpected throwdown of all: Me v. Fox Anchorman Brian Bolter.
Here's a look at us both. Bolter is on the lower right.
Okay, so that's not really Bolter, and I'm sure he's a really nice guy and his bio is quite impressive. But so what? Let's be real. This is not about our skills as journalists or communicators. This is all about the superficial. This is bragging rights at the local watering hole. This time---its personal!!
So am I asking for your vote? Heck, yeah!! Strike a blow for bald anchor dudes everywhere!!
But just to be fair, I'll include a real picture of Bolter:

I was drinking OJ, watching the news (you guys of course), and was "baited" to come visit your blog and leave another rambling post. (yes I blame you!) (j/k)
I've been trying to take a 'NET' break.
Anyways... I think you've brought this on yourself, aside from being a nice guy and (from a male perspective) decent looking, it's your Blog! (your blog did this to you)

Now I don't know what your competition looks like and frankly I don't care. Also I'm not voting... why you ask???
Some how I'd feel uncomfortable doing so (I don't swing that way).
Not that it matters, it just don't seem right.
But you know, this is good for you peeps on the set. No news is good news, or better than murder and mayhem which is news... its just depressing news. Nice to hear the lighter side once in a while.

It's the Donkey here. Now this amazingly lopsided contest is starting to make sense! Sorry I didn't hear about your blog before today, I might have mustered the energy to rally the troops for this silly thing.
