MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA) -- An intoxicated woman assaulted several rescue squad workers Sunday Night, police said.
The workers had responded for the treatment and transport of an intoxicated female. According to police, Paula DiRocco was being transported to Prince William Hospital when she assaulted two rescue squad workers. One victim was hit in the face several times. Another worker was bit in the arm, say police.

At the hospital, police say, DiRocco assaulted a nurse by hitting her with the heart monitor equipment.
DiRocco was charged with two felony counts of assault on rescue personnel and one count of assault on the nurse.
She was held at the Prince William County Adult Detention on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
Her court date is set for March 13.
