WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- DC police say they are still looking for a man who robbed a United States Postal Service truck driver who was loading mail onto his truck. They are now offering a reward of up to $50,000.
The incident happened on Dec. 1, 2011 at about 6:45 p.m. Police say that a man walked up to the driver in the 1900 block of 14th St NW, took out a handgun and robbed the driver of postal service property.
The man then fled on foot.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, about 6' tall, with a slender build. He was wearing all black clothing, black gloves, a ski mask and ski goggles.
