LEXINGTON PARK, Md. (WUSA) -- St. Mary's County deputies are offering a cash reward for information in a cold case.
On Aug. 24, authorities responded to Sell Drive in Lexington Park, Md. for the report of a car accident. When officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Deandre Agustus Hawkins inside a vehicle, shot in the torso. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased as a result of the gunshot wound.
Authorities are offering an reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Hawkins.
