WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- A former D.C. Public School teacher is being accused of having inappropriate sexual relationships with at least five students in three different school districts over 33 years.
The first woman claims she had a sexual relationship with her teacher, now 59-year-old Robert Weismiller, when she was a 16-year-old student in Prince George's County Public Schools.
"It was a devastating experience for me and I've sought psychological counseling over the years," said the woman who wants to remain anonymous.
At the time, she didn't tell school officials. But a second woman from Virginia did tell school officials back when she was a student in Prince William County Public Schools.
"He proceeded to kiss me and put his tongue in my mouth and I pushed him away," said the second woman, who also wants to remain anonymous.
According to an amended complaint filed Thursday in an ongoing lawsuit against Weismiller and D.C. Public Schools, the second woman sued Weismiller back in 1986. As a result, she says he was fired and that "it was my that he wasn't supposed to teach anymore."
But 22-years-later, Weismiller was back in the classroom. This time he was teaching at the Transition Academy at Shadd, a school in southeast Washington for at-risk and emotionally disabled students. It's there that he allegedly had sex dozens of time on school property with an 18-year-old student, Ayanna Blue.
Now 20, Blue is the mother of a 16-month-old child and court documents say Weismiller is the father. According to Blue's lawsuit, D.C. Public School officials knew about Weismiller's relationship with Blue and did nothing.
"If you let people like this teacher, Mr. Weismiller, into our schools to do what he did and then you do absolutely nothing, the schools are a failure," said Scott Gilbert, Blue's Attorney.
So how could this happen? Gilbert says D.C. Public schools should have never hired Weismiller in the first place. He says If the proper background checks had been done, The school district would have seen that first lawsuit from 25-years-ago.
"That case was public record. It was discoverable. He was fired from that school. And that's the kind of information that future employers like the District of Columbia should have picked up." said Gilbert
When asked about the allegations, D.C. Public Schools told 9 NEWS NOW that they do not comment on ongoing litigation. Prince George's County Public Schools also declined to comment. Meanwhile, Prince William County Public Schools said they could only comment after a search of their records.
9 NEWS NOW has repeatedly called Weismiller at his home in Ocean City. So far, he has not returned our phone calls. According to court documents, he has denied any wrongdoing.
