Chris weakens, moves north

Remnants of Chris are now moving away from the east coast and weakening.

WASHINGTON -- Post Tropical Storm Chris is churning in the Atlantic. Dangerous rip currents can be found from North Carolina to New Jersey. Over 150 people were rescued from rip currents in Ocean City, MD on Tuesday. Rip currents will continue to affect the DelMarVa through Saturday.

We are also tracking the remnants of what was Beryl, which drenched Puerto Rico and Hispaniola. Now the heaviest thunderstorms are now over the Bahamas. We'll have to watch this cluster of storms later in the week for regeneration further northward.
